Traditionally known as Kasteelspoort, the hike starts off on Camps Bay side and heads up towards Table Mountain. The hike has a gradual gradient heading up, the trade-off is that the hike can take a long time as a large distance is covered. It is totally worth it, as the views are magical and there is a little hidden spot that I want to share with you at the top.
No real steep sections are passed so perfect for the family.
If you are up for it and fit we can add an hour detour to show off the old cable car.
Trip date and time: From 8 am, seven days a week
What to bring: Waterproof jackets, warm clothes, hiking shoes, hat, sunblock between and sunglasses.
Transport arrives at your accommodation to take you to the hike.
as you arrive your guide will then start off the journey and guide you up the path.
3/4 hours to get to the top where you will be able to relax and have a few snacks while absorbing in the atmosphere and views.
Depending on the time we leave will determine the amount of time we will e able to spend on Lion's head. There is no hurry unless you are on a tight schedule. Giving you the freedom to relax and enjoy the experience.
We will take it easy on the way down and enjoy each moment of it as the way down is just as precious as the way up as we come down with a different perspective.
